Here is a cure for the firefox / linux unforgiving flash bug.
It's a hack of
AnyLink Drop Down Menu
and
div-on-flash-animation-on-linux-its-possible
The solution is to make the iframe background appear and disappear dynamically.
You can cut and paste this code and change it to make your menus work.
But please leave any licenses intact so you don't cause a stir. Read the
flasdown.js file for comments about
moving and removing the iframe.
You might be able to improve this.
if so please email me the better example and any easier code.
But now I am finally happy it works.
